PTZ Simulator

A simple simulator for the VISCA protocol over a serial (COM) port. The orange box behaves like the camera view: it moves when pan/tilt commands arrive and resizes on zoom.

Supported commands

Command	Packet	Effect
Pan/Tilt drive	81 01 06 01 vv ww xx yy FF	moves the box (vv/ww = speed)
Zoom	81 01 04 07 2p / 3p / 00 FF	resizes the box (p = speed)
Power on / off	81 01 04 00 02 / 03 FF	toggles standby overlay
Preset set / recall / reset	81 01 04 3F 01/02/00 pp FF	saves or smoothly recalls position + zoom

Console

Shows every received packet as hex with the decoded name. Unknown packets are red.

Keyboard test mode

No serial device handy? Click into the page and use ←↑↓→ to pan/tilt, +/− to zoom and P to toggle power. This injects the same VISCA packets locally.
